SYDNEY - A shallow quake with a preliminary magnitude of 6.3 was recorded off British Columbia on Canada's west coast, the US Geological Survey said on Tuesday.The quake, at a depth of about 10 km (6 miles), was centred about 260 km (160 miles) southwest of Prince Rupert, British Columbia, the USGS said.A magnitude 7.7 earthquake hit Canada's Pacific coast last Saturday night, causing a tsunami in Hawaii.
