Welfare services in Israel noted an alarming increase in the number of youths and children taking to controlled substances, Israel Radio reported Monday overnight.
In the past year, 2,000 people between the ages of eight and twelve were treated for substance abuse.
The number accounts for some ten percent of all substance abusers treated by Israeli welfare services.
