Newly-appointed Egyptian Vice President Omar Suleiman told US officials that the Muslim Brotherhood was "the bogeyman" and called Iranians "devils," according to a Reuters examination of a new WikiLeaks release on Sunday.
The leaked US State Department cable reportedly showed a long-term and sustained effort by Egypt's long-time intelligence chief to demonize the Islamic political party.

One cable says that Suleiman "takes an especially hard line on Teheran" and refers to Iranians as "devils." He apparently also told US officials that "If [Iran] were to support the Muslim Brotherhood, this would make them 'our enemy.'"
