With ISIS on its doorstep and nuclear talks stalled, Iran looks to flex its muscles

With nuclear negotiations with the West stalling and the Sunni extremist terrorist army of Islamic State making gains, it appears the rulers of the Islamic Republic feel a bit threatened.
Perhaps that is what is compelling Tehran to announce a large-scale military drill that is aimed at sending a message to its restless neighbors.
This show of strength will combine drills from all branches of the Iranian armed services, according to Army Radio. It will include maneuvers by Iranian submarines in the Gulf of Oman, not far from the Sunni Gulf oil sheikdoms. Massive infantry forces will also run drills in the southern part of the country.
