Yesh Atid cancels Wednesday's coalition talks

The Yesh Atid party cancelled its scheduled coalition negotiation meeting with the Likud Beytenu party Wednesday morning, Israel Radio reported.
Yesh Atid is interested in a more trim cabinet with less ministers arguing that Likud Beytenu wants an oversized government upwards of 25 ministers. Yesh Atid wants the government to consist of no more than 18 ministers. Cracks in the alliance are also emerging between Yair Lapid's Yesh Atid party and Naftali Bennett's Bayit Yehudi with regard to the number of ministry's and which ones each party will receive. Naftali Bennett was offered the Finance Ministry but he did not inform Yair Lapid, according to the radio.
