US Ambassador to Israel Tom Nides attended a gathering at the Tulip Winery hosted by Dudi and Bruria Weisman.
The event was held in honor of the visit of President of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center Daniel Podolsky.
Also attending were Eitan Wertheim, director of the Rabin Medical Center (Beilenson) and Pinchas Cohen, chairman of the hospital’s friends association.
UTSW has seven Nobel Prize laureates, 5,700 ongoing research projects and trains 3,700 students every year in various medical roles. UTSW and Rabin Medical Center have cooperated frequently in the last 10 years.
