Two wine events are planned in Tel Aviv ahead of Rosh Hashanah: The 9th Wine Festival at Gan Ofer and a wine party at Shalvata celebrating a year of its activities. The events are aimed at wine enthusiasts and offer tastings from a variety of Israeli wineries.
The festival will take place on Thursday, September 18, starting at 18:00 at Gan Ofer in Tel Aviv. The event, which started about four years ago, has grown year after year and has become one of the city’s most prominent wine events. Participants will receive a crystal glass as a gift, free tastings from 50 wineries, a NIS 20 credit for wine purchases, and free parking for wine buyers at the event.
The list of participating wineries includes Israeli wineries such as Oblass, Uriel Winery, Ben HaPerachim, Ben Ami, Bartenura, Dani, HaLevi’im, Herzog, Tura, Karmey Elul, Luria, Lachish, Mivtsar Atlit, Naor, Netz, Emek HaElla, Psagot, Tzion, Kamun, Rashi, Shiani, Shilo, and Shani. Additionally, distilleries like Golani and Hollander, Gush Etzion Brewery, import companies, and more will participate.
The event focuses on wineries from the north and surrounding areas, as well as wineries owned by reservists. According to the organizers, the event is free for wineries, and the wineries are even compensated.
