The King Store supermarket chain continues its expansion momentum with the opening of the chain’s 29th branch, a new branch at the SEVEN Center, north of the Idan Hanegev employment zone, with a total investment of approximately NIS 15 million.

The new branch integrates into the overall commercial development momentum of the area and offers a particularly convenient and cost-effective shopping experience. Rahat, the largest Bedouin city in Israel and one of the largest cities in the Southern District, is characterized by a young and dynamic population currently numbering about 75,000 residents, and is experiencing continuous growth with expectations of a significant increase in population in the coming years, in accordance with urban development and expansion plans that include new neighborhoods and commercial and employment areas. The branch spans an area of approximately 3,500 square meters and is expected to serve the residents of Rahat and nearby communities such as: Lehavim, Beit Kama, Tarabin al-Sana, and others, with an emphasis on an accessible, available, and cost-effective shopping experience from the chain’s wide range of products.

King Store has been operating in Israel over the past decade and currently has 29 branches nationwide, including: Haifa, Acre, Karmiel, Nof Hagalil, Beersheba, Rosh HaAyin, Daliyat al-Karmel, Ramla, and others. In addition to the familiar basket of Israeli products, the chain also presents a wide and diverse range of produce from the Arab sector, including unique products from manufacturers in the Middle East. In recent years, the chain has begun a massive entry into the broader retail market in Israel, within which it plans to open several large branches across the country.

Majdi Kattani, CEO of the King Store chain, said: “We are excited to open the chain’s 29th branch in the city of Rahat. Already today, a Mini King Store branch operates in the city, and in light of the high demand and accelerated growth in the area, we identified a need to open an additional large branch that will serve not only the residents of Rahat but also the surrounding communities. King Store is known for its unique combination – a familiar Israeli product basket alongside authentic and unique products from the Arab sector and the Middle East. This is our added value, and we are proud to provide customers with a high-quality, broad, and particularly cost-effective shopping experience.”
