The iDigital chain, the official marketer of Apple products in Israel, announced a strategic move expanding the permanent benefits package designated for students. According to the company’s announcement, for the first time permanent discounts will be granted not only on Mac computers, as was customary until now, but also on a variety of iPad models and the complementary Apple Pencil accessory. The move is intended to establish the chain’s position as a central point of sale for the academic community in Israel throughout the entire period of study.
Under the new framework, students will be entitled to a permanent 6% discount on a variety of iPad models and on Mac computers. In addition, the chain is deepening the benefit on the Apple Pencil, which serves as a central work tool in many fields of study, and will grant it a 14% discount. Alongside the financial benefits, the student package also includes extended warranty, professional consultation by Apple experts, and service at the chain’s official laboratories using original spare parts only.
Erez Eisenberg, VP of Sales and Trade at iDigital, referred to the move and noted that the student community in Israel needs a permanent partner and not only seasonal promotions. According to him, the goal is to become the central address for students at every stage of their studies, while providing a comprehensive service package and official warranty. The company emphasizes that this is a strategic move establishing a new standard in the local market, combining convenient payment plans alongside the digital tools required for learning.
The benefits are intended for students upon presentation of a valid student ID or an official study confirmation together with an identity card. The discounts can be redeemed at all branches of the chain and at the company’s sales center, and they will be available throughout all years of the student’s degree.
