Between the alleys of the Jerusalem market, the fruit stalls, and the sweet aromas of marzipan, “Box from Jerusalem” was born - an Israeli initiative that over the years has become much more than gift deliveries. It is a story of human connections, sensitivity, love, and family that crosses borders, continents, and hearts.

Behind the brand stand Chen and Alon Koren, a Jerusalem couple and parents of five, who established a business whose sole purpose is to convey emotion from one person to another - with gentleness, care, and love. For them, every box is far more than a package - it is a way to say “I’m thinking of you,” “I’m here for you,” or simply “I love you.”

One of their defining moments occurred early on, when a special order was received for a blind woman from Sderot. The customer asked for the courier to read the attached greeting, but “Box from Jerusalem” decided to surprise her and printed the greeting in Braille - a small gesture that became a symbol of how they operate to this day: With genuine sensitivity to the smallest details.

Chen and Alon’s love story itself reads like a script for an Israeli movie. She is religious, he is secular; she is from a moshav in the Gaza envelope, he is from Kibbutz Kfar Aza. After meeting at age 16 and enduring years of breakups, reunions, and navigating gaps and anxious families, they chose to stay together, build a family, and create a shared life.

Since the events of October 7th, their sense of mission has only strengthened. For them, “Box from Jerusalem” is not just a business, but a way to remind people that worlds can be connected, even when it seems impossible. “The love is yours; we are just the pipeline that delivers it to another heart,” they say.

Today, Chen and Alon continue to expand from Jerusalem, with a large community of customers in Israel and around the world, seeking to deliver a personal and moving message to the people they love - through one small box that manages to do a great deal of good.

The brand offers deliveries nationwide and abroad, connecting people, families, and hearts - from anywhere in the world.
