ZAKA volunteers working to enable Israel burial

Baruch Nidam, who heads ZAKA’s International Division and is handling the case, said volunteers based in Paris joined local responders and began procedures “to ensure the dignity of the deceased.” He added that ZAKA is working together with Israel’s Foreign Ministry to release the body from a local hospital and arrange transfer to Israel for burial.

No additional information was released about the circumstances surrounding the death.

Nidam said the current effort is focused on completing the legal and logistical steps required to return the body to Israel “for burial.”
