Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher's newborn daughter was reportedly welcomed to the world this week with a party that included a Kabbalah blessing, the Daily Mail reported.
The Hollywood couple welcomed daughter Wyatt Isabelle on September 30. Rumors had been flying for months about whether or not the couple would raise their daughter Jewish, as Mila is Jewish from birth, and while Ashton is not Jewish, he is known to be a devoted student of Kabbalah, which he took an interest in while married to Demi Moore.
A source told RadarOnline.com last year that Kunis “definitely wants children with Ashton and wants to raise them in her Jewish religion.” The Ukrainian-born Kunis moved to the United States as a child.
While Kutcher has dabbled in the ancient Jewish study of Kabbalah, the source claims that Mila’s family is “much more traditional and less Hollywood.”
The couple are engaged to be married, US Weekly and the E! entertainment news website reported in February.
The two attended the funeral of Kabbalah Chief Rabbi Philip Berg in Safed in northern Israel in 2013.
