What gave rise to his arrest, his detention, his suicide," adding "We'll continue to have a dialogue with the Israelis about this." Click here for full JPost coverage of this story German magazine Der Spiegel reported Sunday that Zygier was arrested for passing sensitive information to Hezbollah that led to the arrests of two informants within the ranks of the Shi’ite organization.Siad al-Homsi and Mustafa Ali Awadeh were arrested in May 2009 for spying for Israel in Lebanon and sentenced to long prison terms after Zygier passed their names to a Hezbollah operative, according to the report. A different report from last month claimed Zygier was arrested by his Mossad handlers for giving intelligence information to Australia's domestic intelligence agency, ASIO, the Australian TV channel ABC quoted sources as saying.Carr said that Australia had a "clear interest and objection" on the issue of Australian citizens or dual citizens using Australian passports for work for foreign intelligence agencies because this "creates a risk for all Australians traveling."
