Former prime minister Ehud Olmert formed a international consulting firm with former Mossad chief Meir Dagan and former IDF chief of staff Dan Halutz, a source close to one of the three said Sunday.The source confirmed a report in the financial newspaper Globes that the three men had registered the company with the Israel Corporations Authority.The report said that EOC Partners was owned 46 percent by Olmert, 40% by a company run by Halutz and 14% by Dagan.“The company will advise countries and companies outside Israel on diplomacy, strategy, and security issues,” the source said.When Olmert was prime minister, Halutz served as IDF chief of staff and Dagan as Mossad head. Since then, they have maintained good relations. There have been rumors that the two would cooperate with Olmert if he made a political comeback.Olmert’s political future depends on the ruling in the Holyland case that is due March 31 and the state prosecution’s appeals of the verdicts in the Rishon Tours and Talansky affairs.Since Olmert left the Prime Minister’s Office on March 31, 2009, he maintained work in the business sector and had his own consulting firm as well as being involved in ventures in Israel and around the world.
