ABOUT YOU >>> Age: 16 Residence: Currently, Germany Married? With children? Not yet Current occupation: Student Dream job/career: Diplomat or theologian What are you most proud of: None of the things I gained or love were entirely caused by me - how can I be proud of them then? Religious affiliation / observance: Let's call it Jewish "modern orthodox". Mostly I can't define it even myself Last person / party I voted for: Not allowed to vote yet and if I was, I suppose I would skip the elections Next person / party I will vote for: The class representative - referring to my school. Politics are still off limits for me My history (100 words max): Grew up speaking two languages since raised in two countries. Underwent a miraculous personality "change" at age of 14 - thank G-d! Additionally I can tell that I have always been a pupil who loved studying and I hope to continue the same way ;-) Family history (100 words max): They came from different directions, no one knows how and why. Large, confusing family tree. I never got to know my father but I'm quite happy with that. Until now I am the only one continuing the religious branch of my family which was abandoned some 3 generations ago Greatest invention: The Tora - if we consider it being "invented" by G-d for our world. Otherwise... the computer. If you could have dinner with any person in the world it would be: Most of them already died... From the prominent ones, Shimon Peres If you could go anywhere on vacation, it would be: Definitely Yemen. My faraway roots and some of my best friends are hiding there somewhere Feminine/masculine trait I'd like to have: Masculine nonchalance What angers you: Neglect of one's own sense of rationality What makes you happy: Music, singing, discovering new truths, new ideas, new friends; fresh air and a blue sky Last book I read was: Bezalel Aloni - Letters to Ofra Comfort food: popcorn, malt beer, pasta Anything you regret? My extremely short sleeping period per night! My life five years from now: Everything is in G-d's hands... But I wish it would be a high school degree, aliyah, and joining an university in Israel You may not like it but I have something controversial to say: For me, Judaism is all about prioritizing! Happiness: 1-10 (10 being the happiest) 8 Click here to leave a message for Haya ABOUT YOU >>> Meet all 'About Me' participants
