Health Ministry investigates deaths of 4 infants who died from brain damage

The Health Ministry is investigating the deaths of four toddlers that died during the last four weeks, to see if there was a connection between the separate incidents. The infants all died from brain damage caused by unclear circumstances.
"An initial investigation found that there was no connection between the cases," the ministry advised.
Two of the babies died in Petah Tikva's Shneider Hospital after suffering serious brain damage. A third, aged 14 months from the Sharon region, died after suffered a myocardial infarction.
