A national body that will find solutions to protect patients against antibiotic-resistant germs will be created, Israel Radio reported on Sunday.
The government unanimously approved the move following a request by Health Minister Ya'acov Ben-Yizri.
The members of the new agency will be experts on pandemics and contagious diseases and the projected budget of the agency is NIS 12 million.
