Scientists find asteroid debris in Canada

Canadian scientists said they have located debris from a 10-ton asteroid that exploded in the skies over Canada's Prairie provinces earlier this month. Dr. Alan Hildebrand and graduate student Ellen Milley found several fragments late Thursday near the Alberta-Saskatchewan border. They were searching for what they say could be thousands of fragments strewn over a 20-square-kilometer area near the Battle River. Residents of Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta have been buzzing about the huge fireball that lit up the night sky Nov. 20.
