Two soldiers from the US-led coalition have been killed in southern Afghanistan.
The soldiers - who had been conducting a security patrol together with Afghan troops in Kandahar province - died Saturday when their vehicle struck a roadside bomb.
The US-led coalition did not release the nationalities of the two soldiers.
Last year was the most violent in Afghanistan since the 2001 US-led invasion. The UN says more than 8,000 people died in insurgency related violence.
