Separatist rebels fatally shot 13 migrant workers in India's northeast on Saturday, an official said, a day after the insurgents killed 17 people in a string of shootings.
Saturday's shootings took place in the remote town of Sadiya, in Assam, 600 kilometers southeast of the state capital Gauhati, local administrative officer Absar Hazarika said.
On Friday, 17 people were fatally shot in the tea-growing districts of Tinsukia and Dibrugarh, 500 to 600 kilometers east of Gauhati, R. N. Mathur, Assam's police chief, told The Associated Press.
