7 dead, dozens injured in bus explosion in central Russia

A passenger bus exploded Wednesday morning in Togliatti, a city that is the headquarters of Russia's largest carmaker, killing at least seven people and injuring dozens, a spokesman for the Emergency Situations Ministry said.
The cause of the explosion was not immediately clear, spokesman Viktor Beltsov said. Russian news agencies reported that it appeared to be a bomb.
Russian news agencies reported that in addition to the dead, 20 people were hospitalized and another 20 sought medical attention.
