UN Secretary General Kofi Annan said at a Monday night press conference featuring representitives of the Quartet that all members of the future Palestinian government must be committed to non-violence, recognition of Israel, and acceptance of existing agreements.
He added that the new Palestinian government must commit to rule of law and tolerance.
