Britain to sell 72 fighter planes to Saudi Arabia

Great Britain and Saudi Arabia have reached a $19 billion deal under which Britain agrees to sell the kingdom 72 Eurofighter Typhoon airplanes to replace its aging fleet of Tornadoes, Financial Times reported Friday morning. The agreement could be worth even more over the next 25 years, when the value of future upgrades and maintenance is included. Britain's Ministry of Defence refused to comment on the deal.
