Clinton: N. Korea plan to fire missile 'provocative'

Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton called on Wednesday North Korea's plan to fire a missile a "provocative act" that would have consequences. Clinton told reporters in Mexico City that the US believed the North Korean plan to fire a missile for any purpose would violate a resolution by the UN Security Council. She said that the US would raise the issue with the United Nation if the plan goes forward. US officials said that North Korea was loading a Taepodong rocket on its east coast launch pad in anticipation of the launch of a communications satellite early next month.
