Japan's Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi said Monday he hopes to visit Israel and the Palestinian territories before his term ends in September.
Koizumi said at a briefing Monday that he hoped to visit eventually when the time was right, according to Cabinet spokesman Yu Kameoka.
No plans have been finalized, Kameoka said.
