Ze'ev Schiff, the military reporter of "Haaretz" newspaper, died Tuesday night at the age of 74. Schiff, who covered the IDF and the defense establishment for almost 50 years and was considered an extremely influential journalist, was hospitalized earlier in the week for chest pains.
Shiff was survived by a wife and two sons.
