Myanmar says cyclone killed 243, government declares disaster zones

Myanmar's state-run media are reporting that more than 240 people have died from a powerful cyclone that also knocked out electricity to the main city.
State-run television says at least 243 people have died from Tropical Cyclone Nargis.
The UN says thousands of homes have been destroyed, mostly in the low-lying Irrawaddy delta.
The military-run Myaddy television station says five regions of the country have been declared disaster zones.
