NATO soldier killed, 3 wounded in e. Afghanistan

A soldier from the NATO-led force in Afghanistan was killed and three others wounded during a combat operation in the east of the country, the force said. A separate statement from the U.S.-led coalition said a roadside bomb exploded near a military convoy in the eastern province of Laghman, causing a number of casualties. It was not immediately clear if both statements were referring to the same incident.
