Addressing the escalating crisis around Iran's nuclear program, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said that he and US President George W. Bush had discussed the problem and would continue to talk about it.
Olmert referred to the "major threat posed by Iranians' attempts to achieve nonconventional capabilities."
"This must be stopped. There is total agreement between the president and myself that there is a need to stop [Iran's nuclear enrichment]," the prime minister stated.
Bush added that he felt that the most important thing in dealing with the Iran crisis was that there be a common goal: "That is, Iran should not have a nuclear weapon."
