South Korea, Japan to hold FM talks within days

Japan's foreign minister will visit South Korea within days for talks with his counterpart, Seoul's Foreign Ministry said, amid tension over Tokyo's denial of responsibility for forcing women into sexual slavery during World War II. Japan's top diplomat Taro Aso will be on the southern South Korean resort island of Jeju on March 31-April 1 for talks with South Korean Foreign Minister Song Min-soon, the ministry said in a statement issued late Friday after the two ministers spoke by telephone.
