The trial of four suspects in a failed train bombing in Germany was postponed Wednesday until May 10 after the judge rejected a defense request to move the proceedings to the suspects' northern Lebanon home region.
The defense decided to appeal the ruling, according to a defense lawyer.
At a hearing a week ago, the defense sought to move the trial to the northern port city of Tripoli, arguing that the suspects' families couldn't afford travel expenses to Beirut, a two-hour drive away.
