US military says soldier killed by roadside bomb in Baghdad

The US military says an American soldier has been killed by a roadside bomb in eastern Baghdad.
A statement from the military says the soldier died late Saturday when a bomb struck the vehicle he was riding in.
The soldier's name was withheld until his family could be notified.
