Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Monday that Iran was not opposed to dialogue with the US, which he stressed must be conducted "under appropriate conditions."
Nevertheless, during an interview with Al-Arabiya the Iranian president emphasized that Iran would never conduct similar discussions with Israel, since it didn't recognize the Jewish state's existence.
In addition, Ahmadinejad said that the US must recognize the sovereignty of Iraq and its elected government.
