IAEA official to visit Iran for talks

The International Atomic Energy Agency said one of its top officials will travel to Iran on Thursday. IAEA spokesman Marc Vidricaire said Wednesday deputy director general Olli Heinonen would fly to Teheran for talks with officials there. The visit comes after US officials said Iran's response to an incentives package aimed at defusing a dispute over its nuclear program was unacceptable, making the prospect of new sanctions against the country more likely. It is unclear if Iran's response would be on Heinonen's agenda.
