Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Sunday that the "international Zionist web" was trying to keep him from visiting Germany for the World Cup soccer match. The Iranian president, who previously stated his intention to travel to Germany for the World Cup games that will take place there this summer, said that he had not yet decided on the matter. Iran is one of the 32 nations participating in the worldwide sporting event.

"My decision depends on a lot of different things," Ahmadinejad said. Some German officials have been pressing to prevent Ahmadinejad's visit following numerous statements that he made casting doubt about the occurrence of the Holocaust, which he reiterated in an interview to Der Spiegel, saying that he doubted whether the Germans had been allowed to write "the truth" about the Holocaust. "I only accept something as the truth if I am truly convinced of it," Ahamdinejad asserted.
