"The Joint List party is funded by and acts on behalf of the Palestinian Authority," Yisrael Beytenu Party leader and former defense minister Avigdor Liberman wrote on his Facebook account on Saturday.
"Mossawa, the PA's television channel, supports the Joint List party in the upcoming Israeli elections," Liberman wrote. "What further proof do we need for people to realize that the Joint List party is funded by and acts on behalf of the Palestinian Authority?"
Liberman also noted that Yisrael Beytenu will request the Chairman of the Central Elections Committee to investigate whether the PA's support of the Joint List is a "violation of the Propaganda Law," on the base of "a prohibited contribution and the intervention of a foreign entity in the Israeli elections."
