Yesh Atid MK Yaakov Peri harshly criticized Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Saturday, saying he is not a good leader and can't handle the demands and pressure of the job, Israel Radio reported.
"He did not do much during his term, and complicated matters...I hope his rule will come to an end," Peri said at a cultural event in Beersheba.
The former Shin Bet chief said that he would be pleased to see a center-left coalition that could beat out the right in elections set for March 17.
He said he hopes that Yesh Atid leader Yair Lapid would head the bloc, but he would also support former justice minister Tzipi Livni or opposition leader Isaac Herzog as the leader.
Peri said he would not join another party, however, and that if he were to leave Yesh Atid he would leave politics all together.
