Who are the most Google-searched politicians in Israel?

Bayit Yehudi is the most-searched party, followed by Likud, Meretz, Yesh Atid, Zionist Union, Shas, Yisrael Beytenu and Koolanu.

Bayit Yehudi leader Naftali Bennett is the most-searched politician of the current election campaign, and people searched for his party more than any other, according to Google Israel.
Google released the ranking Tuesday, ahead of next month's DIGIT conference on digital journalism at the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya.
In recent months, Bennett was the politician whose name was searched more than any other on Google, followed by Yesh Atid leader Yair Lapid, Bayit Yehudi MK Ayelet Shaked and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's wife Sara Netanyahu in fourth place, while the premier is in seventh.
Zionist Union's Tzipi Livni is fifth, though the list's leader, Isaac Herzog is only 14th.
Two reporters-turned-politicians were in the top 10: Sharon Gal, who is running on the Yisrael Beytenu list, in sixth place, and Bayit Yehudi's Yinon Magal in 10th.

DIGIT director Roy Katz said "candidates are making massive efforts to attract attention on digital platforms in an attempt influence voters' stances and drive them to action." Katz also pointed out that parties that did less online campaigning in the past, like Shas and its leader Arye Deri, who is the ninth most-searched politician, still spark interest in Google searches.
