Apartments of Ori Ansbacher's murderer to be demolished
The court rejected the petition of Arafat's family.

The High Court of Justice authorized the demolition of the home of the 29-year-old resident of Hebron, Arafat Irfaiya, who murdered Ori Ansbacher two months ago. Irfaiya said he killed her because she was Jewish.The court rejected the petition of Arafat's family from Erfoun. Irfaiya raped and murdered Ansbacher, the 19-year-old from Tekoa, in the Ein Yael area of Jerusalem, near where she volunteered for the "Yaalim" Center for Children and Youth at risk.The Supreme Court's decision was supported by the majority, including judges Alex Stein and Issac Amit. Justice George Kara presented the minority position that the second apartment connected to Irfaiya, where his parents lived, should not be demolished. However, this was overruled and both apartments were ordered to be demolished.Irfaiya stabbed Ansbacher three times. Uri tried to resist him but she was eventually overpowered.He then fled to Bethlehem, where he took a taxi to the Al-Bireh area, near Ramallah.After hiding the knife he used for the murder under cement bags by a local mosque, Irfaiya was caught by the army in that mosque.No Palestinian group supported or took responsibility for his actions.
