Approximately 150 Palestinians jumped the West Bank security barrier near A-Ram north of Jerusalem, entering Israel, Israel's public broadcaster KAN News reported on Sunday afternoon.
The incident occured at approximately 12:00 p.m., KAN added.
Border Police officers were mobilized in an attempt to control the situation, with KAN citing a Border Police statement that the issue is not a major concern.
The IDF's Central Command was cited as saying that it "received an update on the unusual number" of people crossing the barrier, and that the matter is under investigation.
