An Israel Police officer was injured after a Palestinian truck crashed into a police vehicle at the Tapuach Junction in the West Bank on Monday afternoon.
The driver of the truck attempted to flee the scene of the incident, police said, but was pursued by backup police forces and arrested along with a passenger in the truck.
Officers from the Ariel Police Station are on scene and investigating the circumstances of the incident, police confirmed.
Magen David Adom paramedics were also on thescene, treating an approximately 40-year-old man for light injuries, according to an MDA spokesperson.
