The IDF Home Front Command held a situational assessment and lightened the restrictions of its security guidelines on Wednesday night, taking effect from 12 p.m. on Thursday.

The guidelines will transition Israel from essential-only activity to a limited activity level.

Educational activities are still prohibited, apart from those with specific exceptions laid out by HFC.

Gatherings of up to 50 people are permitted if there is a protected space that can be reached within the required amount of time.

Workplaces may also resume operations if they are in locations where a protected space can be reached within the required time.

Security guidelines in place until Saturday, Home Front Command says

These security guidelines will be in place until at least Saturday at 8 p.m., Home Front Command stated.

This reverses a previous HFC guideline, which issued restrictive security guidelines, stating on Monday that they would be in place until at least Saturday.
