Police reported the alleged theft of the hives after the suspects caught themselves in a sticky situation after attempting to make a beeline through the western entrance of Modi'in until the "suspicious" truck was stopped for inspection by officers on location.
The officers found multiple beehives stored in the back of the two suspects' truck.
The two suspects appeared in court early yesterday morning and have been put on a six-day house arrest.
