The police will soon question Benjamin Netanyahu’s son Yair in connection with a probe of the prime minister’s campaign fund-raising, Channel 10 reported on Tuesday.According to the report, the decision to question Yair was made because the prime minister’s son frequently was brought up in previous interrogations, with all of the persons interrogated mentioning Yair in an unclear manner.Yair will not be questioned under caution at this point, Channel 10 said.“The testimony of Netanyahu’s son will clarify a number of issues concerning the probe against the prime minister,” said a law enforcement source cited by Channel 10.Former and current Netanyahu aids, including Ari Harow, Netanyahu’s former chief of staff, already have been questioned in the probe. While police leaks have indicated that both Benjamin and Sara Netanyahu will be brought in for questioning, it is uncertain when this will happen.Yair’s role in the probe remains murky. A Haaretz report in mid-July stated that the police were checking whether money was transferred from businessmen abroad to Sara and Yair for their personal use.Yair, 25, served in the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit and is an active member of the Likud. A graduate of the IDC-Herzliya, he is currently studying at Hebrew University.
