Following the deaths of Rabbi Ahiad Ettinger and Staff St. Gal Keidan in a terrorist attack in Ariel, the 19-year-old soldier who was wounded in the attack, was reported to be out of immediate mortal danger on Tuesday, as his brother told Walla News that "He certainly understands the situation in which he is now."
On Monday, the soldier underwent another operation and is recovering, as he is no longer in critical condition. "He was taken off the ventilator and is no longer under anesthesia," his brother said. "He woke up and acknowledged the environment and the medical staff, he recognized us and he even tried to talk to us, even though it's still hard for him. We still have not talked to him about the attack, we want him to recover first."The IDF has yet to catch the perpetrators for Sunday's terrorist attack in Ariel, and the manhunt remains ongoing.
