A loyal customer of Maafe Neeman, a chain bakery in Israel, took a video of cockroaches roaming around bourekas in one the bakery's locations in Jerusalem, according to Channel 2.
After the customer complained and asked the seller to throw out the bourekas he saw the cockroaches touch, the seller refused.
"It's a shame that they continue to sell," the customer said, according to Channel 2 on Monday.  "Everyone was horrified; all the customers were in shock and ran away."
The branch was closed shortly afterwards.
It will remain closed  "until the completion of tests and the issue is resolved," the branch responded according to the report. "This is a one-time and unfortunate event."
The management said it  "apologizes to customers and will do everything in order prevent similar cases in the future. "
The branch is in the city center, 49 Jaffa Street, near the popular shopping district.
