One of the suspects in the murder of Pizza Hut employee Yemanu Binyamin Zalka is the son of a senior official in the defense establishment, Walla learned on Sunday.
Zalka, 21, was killed last Tuesday, and the Petah Tikva Magistrate’s Court on Sunday extended the detention of the main suspect in his murder by five days.
Three additional suspects are expected to be brought later in the day for hearings to extend their detention.
The suspects are accused of murder committed jointly, aggravated assault, and causing injury under aggravated circumstances, while armed.
The investigation is ongoing, and police are continuing to map out all those involved in the incident and each suspect's role.
