The violence continued even after security forces arrived on the scene, per the police report. Border Police identified two individuals who were wielding blunt instruments, blades, and Molotov cocktails.

Police shoot two individuals, both pronounced dead
“We saw a man in his 30s who was unconscious, without a pulse and without breathing, with severe penetrating injuries to his body," Magen David Adom paramedics who responded to the scene, Moti Glushtein and Zohar Maman, said.
"We carried out medical examinations, but we had no choice but to pronounce him dead. Another victim was evacuated from the scene in critical condition.”
According to the police report, it took a large police presence to restore order to the situation.
On Sunday morning, National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir said that when he told the media that the public counted Arab's shot during police activity, "the media was quick to shout: Fake!"
"So here it is: All night long the left-wing media reported on 'three murdered,' cried about 'bodies piling up at the police station,' and asked, 'Where are the police?' And the truth? Two of them threw stones and Molotov cocktails and were shot by our heroic police officers during the incident! This is exactly the mind engineering I was talking about!"
