The sequel to Wonder Woman, starring Gal Gadot, won't be released until 2020.
But Gadot is reportedly set to reprise her role as the superheroine in The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part, which hits theaters next month.
The sequel to the 2014 Lego Movie reunites much of its original cast, as well as a slate of (Lego-fied) DC superheroes, including Batman, Aquaman, Superman, Green Lantern, Harley Quinn and Wonder Woman.
And according to the buzz on movie blogs and fan sites over the past month, Warner Bros has enlisted the real-life movie counterparts to voice the Lego versions of several DC characters. Therefore audiences should expect to hear Jason Momoa playing Aquaman, Margot Robbie portraying Harley Quinn and Gadot voicing Wonder Woman in theaters next month.
Warner Bros. did not confirm the casting news by press time.
The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part hits theaters in the US on February 8 and in Israel on April 11.
