The Sounds of the Old City festival returns and will run this year between April 1 and April 4.
The festival will take place in 10 locations around the Old City of Jerusalem.
At the center of the festival, the festival’s flagship project will be created with the singer, composer, creator and songwriter, and the undisputed star of Israeli music for years - Shlomo Artzi.
The project - Shlomo Artzi: In the Paradise of Childhood, will take place at Tzahal Square. The festival also includes a rich musical menu: performances by the best artists, musical ensembles in special combinations created specifically for the festival, musical performances and video art.
Among the artists appearing: Dudu Aharon hosts Lina Makhul, Hadag Nachash, Nurit Galron, Ofer Levy, Mendy Jerufi and more.
Sounds of the Old City is a musical, visionary, rich and varied journey with the breath-taking view of the Old City, which will leave visitors wanting more. Some of the festival’s performances and events are groundbreaking and cross-genre, forming a bridge between different styles and audiences.
